Eli Ash The Metamorphosis The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka is one of the early literary criticisms of Communism. It uses the bosh of a man, named Gregor Samsa, as a metaphor. In the story George supports his integral family because his father lost his job and is in tremendous debt. all at once one day Gregor wakes up and is a cockroach and from hence on the story progresses to show how he was resented and essentially put away by his family. Gregors first concern upon figuring show up he is a cockroach is his work. He has never been upstart in five years, not even missed day, unless his boss gives him no respect and leaves him the constant fear of cosmos fired. Gregor worries he missed his train and now may drift off his job. A clerk from his work his sent to check up on him and Gregor knows he must reveal himself to his family finally. When he opens the door, which took majuscule effort, the clerk runs screaming from the site and the family is horrified. Gregors sister, Greta, takes accountability for Gregors fear now, she feeds and cleans him.

It doesnt take long for the family to realize that with their provider being turned into a cockroach, they need jobs now and cant only attend to his welfare. Soon Gregors situation starts impact everyone, his mothers health starts suffering and his father takes it out on Gregor, in one fit he even injured him. To raise their income the family takes in three lodgers and use Gregors room for storage, further present their disconnect from their son who once provided everything from them. One night the lodgers envision Greta playing violin and ask for her to play for them. She obliges and Gregor hears the music and is so touched he comes out of hiding to show her his support.
