After watching Dr. Kings speech, his point is perspicuous; equal rights. Dr. King sets his mood by establishing his ethos as a public figure standing in the symbolic shadows of Abraham Lincoln. appealing to his audiences emotions by talking about his own children, and finally reminding the American people of basic human rights. Ethos, reminds the American people about the Emancipation proclamation signed by one of our substructure for fathers, Abraham Lincoln. He also refers to the Declaration of independence. III. Pathos, the speech is filled with ruth… from examples of police brutality, segregated drinking fountains… and all of his individual, I have a dream, quotations. IV. Logos, he reminds the American people that what he is imagine about is not crazy, but basic human rights. V. departure down in history as the number one speech of out time DR.
